On Non-Dual Spirit
...Spirit goes out of itself to produce objective Nature, awakens to itself in subjective Mind, then recovers itself in pure non-dual Spirit, where subject and object are one pure act of non-dual consciousness that unifies both Nature and Mind in realized Spirit. Thus, Spirit knows itself objectively as Nature, knows itself subjectively as Mind, and knows itself absolutely as Spirit -- the Source, the Summit, the Ground, and the Process of the entire ordeal.
[Johann] Fichte...used to perform this interior experiment...
'Be aware of the wall. Now be aware of that which is aware of the wall. Now be aware of that which is aware of that which is aware of the wall.' '...this was a genuine...attempt to push back to the pure Witness, the absolute subjectivity that can never be seen as an object because it is the pure and formless Seer.' Begin to contact the absolute self by asking, 'Who am I?' or 'What is it that is now aware?' This radical self...is the source of the entire manifest world.'

"Living consciousness somehow is the influence that turns the possibility of something into something real. The most essential ingredient in creating our universe is the consciousness that observes it." Lynne McTaggart, The Intention Experiment

Ken Wilber is my favorite philosopher. He lives in Boulder, CO and is one of the smartest people on the planet. His work is deep and difficult to wade through sometimes. But this is the close to his book The Marriage of Sense and Soul, 1998. It's so beautiful and profound, I feel compelled to share it.
"Could we really speak of world peace without both of these freedoms [the temporal realm Enlightenment of the West and timeless realm Enlightenment of the East] made available to all? Could any of us be deeply happy without these freedoms shining from the faces of all of Spirit's children? Could any of us truly sleep at night without all souls being liberated in this vast expanse? Could we dare begin to pray for ourselves without praying for one and all? And could any of us be truly free until all beings without exception swim equally in this ocean of emancipation?
"And perhaps, political freedom joined with spiritual freedom, time joined with the timeless, space joined with infinity, we will come finally to rest, finally to peace, finally to a home that structures care into the Kosmos and compassion into the world, that touches each and every soul with grace and goodness and goodwill, and lights each being with a glory that never fades or falters. And we are called, you and I, by the voice of the Good, and the voice of the True, and the voice of the Beautiful, called exactly in those terms, to witness the liberation of all sentient beings without exception.
"And on the distant, silent, lost horizon, gentle as fog, quiet as tears, the voice continues to call."
...AUM...

"Two in One"
We live in a world of dualism. Where there is right, there is of necessity, wrong. East must meet West, up needs down...in must have out.
But "out beyond ideas of right and wrong, there is a field. I will meet you there", Rumi promised.
It is into this field that we die...the divine, sublime, united whole which we may or may not call "God" in any language or religion.
So dualism dissolves into the formlessness of the Void from which it has arisen.
All becomes One. Always is. Always was. Always will be.
Even transcending time and space.

"Love is not an activity of the mind, but is the 'pure and luminous essence' which creates mind."
St. Germain
"This Essence from the Great God Flame streams into substance, and constantly pours Itself out, as Perfection in form and action. Love is Perfection manifest. It can only express peace, joy, and an outpouring of those feelings to all creation -- unconditionally. It asks nothing for Itself because it is eternally self-creating, being the Heartbeat of the Supreme. Love owns All and is only concerned with setting the plan of Perfection into action in all. Thus, it is a constant pouring out of Itself. It takes no cognizance of what has been given in the past, but receives its joy and maintains its balance by the continual outstreaming of Itself. Because this Perfection is within Love, forever flowing forth, It is incapable of recording anything but Itself."
St. Germain
